I read a few reviews about staff being aggressive regarding taking their insurance and I considered using an alternative hire company. I am very glad I kept with Centauro as the entire experience was excellent. The staff I engaged with were polite and not pushy and I will look to use Centauro on my next trip to Alicante.

Had a great experience using Centauro car hire. Shuttle bus was waiting for only us after a delayed flight, staff member at customer desk was happy, polite and gave no hard sell or scaremongering tactics to upsell insurance (used by other firms!) He just provided clear & concise information on the company's policies. Drop off was a breeze, and extra convenient that there is a petrol station directly beside their office to fill up the car before returning. I sometimes have doubts about booking car rental off-site as it can be viewed as an inconvenience. However, not having to deal with cars parked in cramped multi-story spaces, pillars, barriers and kerbs as your first driving experience of an unfamiliar rental car, I think I shall book 'off site' from now on based on this experience.

Great price. Can do most of the booking and identification online in advance. They don't force you to take the car at the front door when you're unprepared for driving - the car's in a yard in an adjoining street which gives you plenty of time to orientate yourself to the vehicle. Easy return with a full tank to the same yard. With the quoted price you can't really go wrong!

Extremely good service. Fast pick-up, they also have an app where you can load your documents. Car was good, price was fair. Drop-off was done in less than 1 min. I will for sure come back. Thank you!

Great service provided. Staff very helpful and friendly. Got brand new Hyundai I20 and took full insurance just in case :) Quick collection and return in the office. Fast shuttle bus from/to the airport. All t&c clear and fair - just need to read them before, as from my observation not everyone does! Fuel policy should be full/full instead of 50/50 is the only thing I'm not fully happy with but it's still ok. And maybe full insurance per day a bit lower, at least for returning customers ;) Will definitely use again and hope to experience same great service! Thank you!

I am absolutely satisfied with Centauro! The service is excellent, the cars are great, and the process is quick and smooth. Since I travel a lot and regularly need a rental car at the airport, Centauro has become my go-to choice. Whenever I see that Centauro is available at a location, I only book with them. We rented the car in Malaga and returned it in Seville. The instructions for returning the car were clear and very helpful, which made the process smooth. We were a few minutes late due to a road closure, but the staff was understanding and didn't make a big deal about it, which we really appreciated. Returning the key was quick and straightforward. Overall, everything went perfectly, and we had a great experience. A special thanks to the polite lady working at the desk for her excellent service!

The personnel is very kind and informative. The pick-up is as smooth as possible can be :) even got an upgrade with a brand new SUV still with the production stickers on it. The drop-off also very smooth as the office is working from 07:00-23:00 :) No deposit required on premium booking compared to 1,400 EUR at others in Malaga… would recommend to everybody!!!

I rented a car for our one-week vacation in Madrid. I waited a maximum of 15-20 minutes to pick up the car and sign the paperwork. They didn't have the car I wanted available but they upgraded me. The whole experience was perfect, I received all the necessary information, a fee was asked for a full tank of fuel, which was fully refunded after I returned the car with a full tank of fuel. I had to drop off the car outside of opening hours, they explained how to proceed and everything was fine, the only difference was that the shuttle bus doesn't run outside of opening hours but I took a bolt and everything was fine. Very good experience, I will definitely work with this rental company again.

My insurance gives me a substitute car if my car needs to go into the garage and last week I needed to use that service. The first time I have ever used Centauro and the experience was great. Attended by an extremely nice gentleman in reception, who explained everything perfectly. The car was perfect and extremely clean and it was brand new. Brought it back and it was the same. Surprisingly I had a very good experience with them (I don't like renting cars, they frequently try to scam you). I rented through their website, which apparently only allows you to get the full insurance (no other option appeared to me). But the price was good and the reviews as well, so I booked a car. Flawless renting, from beginning to end. I had no problem at all, impeccable service, both at pickup and drop off. The gas deposit was returned fast, and the car I got was clean and working fine. In other words, a very easy and nice experience. If I ever need another car in Bilbao, I'll get through them. Highly recommended. PS.: the gas station very very close to them has the cheapest fuel in the whole city. A bonus point for that!

Fabulous service and car rental at great value. We were provided with an SUV that was clean and worked perfectly. Fuel is deducted on collection of the vehicle and refunded when returning the car. Highly recommend booking directly on the Centauro website as that gives full car insurance with no excess and a free additional driver. This means we didn't have to bother with checking for damage before and after the rental as it would all be covered. Also free cancellation up to 24h prior. I compared with Booking dot com and it was similar prices but with better service, at least for my rental. We were dropped off at the airport, transfer left immediately and took about 5 mins. What a smooth experience!

I've rented cars several times from Centauro in Italy and Spain. I like that they offer cars with full insurance, and every time I received vehicles that were almost new. The last car I rented from them was in Barcelona—a Hyundai Kona with only 800 km on the odometer. The pick-up/drop-off process is very quick (especially if you use the app and upload your documents), and I've never had any issues. They don't block a deposit on your card for the rental car, only the cost of the fuel tank, which they promptly refund if the car is returned with a full tank.

Good service, all perfect! I really like the fact that insurance is fully included in the price: no doubt, no surprises. As well, cancellation is for free up to 24h before the pick-up date. Overall, I always rent with them as soon as they have an agency around :)
